After the success of last year, we thought we'd simply do it again! We'll have a BBQ with one free item per person, live music, whacky races, crafts, games and a bouncy castle for under 11s. Everyone is welcome so do coming along if you can. See you there!!
Below is a little information about some of our more recent events.
Every year we use pancake day as an excuse to run an event, and this year was no different. There was live music, pancake based crafts, games, and of course pancakes made to order in our hall while people waited!!
Christingle and Carol Service
Christmas is alway a wonderful time in our church calendar as we celebrate Jesus' birth, God with us. This year we started the festivities with a Christingle service and meal at the beginning of December. It was a great time as the church family enjoyed a meal together and we all particupated in the Christingle craft together.
Our Christmas carol service was launched by singing carols round the block and the meeting featured a scratch nativity, youth choir, Archie the Christmas dog family story, and of course Mulled juice and mince pies.
Church Weekend Away
Once every couple of years we all go for a weekend away together as a church. This year we went to Macaroni Woods and had a fantastic time with our guest speaker Debbie Laycock, who shared on our theme for the year "Arise, Shine, for your light has come". There was lots of time to hang out with one another, play games, eat good food and generally grow together as a church family.
